What are Porcelain Veneers?

The procedure involves an initial consultation where the treatment goals are discussed. This would involve exploring the patient’s options and making a decision about the number of teeth to be veneered. Then, planning the specific changes to be made to the appearance of the smile. The following visit would involve reshaping the teeth in order to allow space for the thickness of the Veneers and taking an impression of the teeth.
At this visit, temporary veneers will be placed. This will provide a test-run for the patient to try out the veneers and having the opportunity to make changes to the shape and length of the teeth prior to finalizing the design. The final appointment would involve removing the temporaries and cementing the Porcelain Veneers.
