CORONAVIRUS

Our dental office has taken advanced precautions in addition to our already stringent sterilization techniques to create a safe environment during these times. You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. To maintain social distancing protocols we made the following modifications to help protect our patients and staff:

Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask pre-screening questions. We are using HEPA air filtration systems to eliminate aerosols, so you can rest assured that we are going above and beyond to ensure your safety. You need to wear a mask/face covering upon entering the office/medical building and use hand sanitizer (please bring your own mask; hand sanitizer is provided when you enter the building). We will take your temperature upon arrival and if it is above 100.4 degrees we will need to reschedule you.

Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. Please arrive on time and not early. If you arrive early, please stay in your car until it’s time for your appointment and then come to the office. We can only allow the patient to enter the office, unless you absolutely require assistance; your company must stay in the car during your appointment.

Mariam Wasfi, DDS

“When it comes to a person’s smile, every patient has different needs and goals. Whether it’s cosmetic or restorative, I strive to help my patients become healthier and happier people. I love what I do and the sense of gratitude I get from my patients brings a smile to my face.”

Dr. Wasfi has lived in Lake Forest for most of her life. She graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 2005 and stuck to her Orange County roots when choosing to attend UC Irvine for her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. After receiving her undergraduate degree in 2009, Dr. Wasfi ventured to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During her time in Boston, Dr. Wasfi served as her Class Treasurer and teaching assistant; mentoring students both in the classroom and clinic. Dr. Wasfi was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society her senior year and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dr Wasfi is currently a member of many professional associations such as: Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, American Dental Association, American Association of Women in Dentistry, and the California Dental Association. Dr. Wasfi is also a certified Invisalign provider.
In her spare time, Dr. Wasfi loves spending quality time with her husband and her baby girl. She enjoys going to the beach, hiking, and traveling. She loves trying new food and is always in search of new restaurants in her neighborhood.
