Meet Our Team
Van N.
Van began her work in the dental field as a dental assistant since high school. She particularly loved making a lasting difference and helping patients and thus decided to further her education in dental hygiene.
Van received a dental hygiene degree from the University of Minnesota in 1990 and moved to California to start her career. She has been with the practice since 1994 and enjoys seeing her patients especially forming new relationships and developing trust with her patients over the years. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving care and is able to assist in transforming their smiles. In her free time, Van enjoys cooking, traveling, theater, and the beach.
Grace S.
Is a Filipino dentist practicing Dentistry for 10 years before immigrating to the USA. At present, she is excited to be a part of the Irvine Smile Design team as one of their many talented Dental Assistants. More than her career, she is also a proud mother and wife.
Grace says: “What I love about my job is the fulfillment to witness how our skillful hands can do treatment that relieves our patients from pain, to see their self-confidence increase as they confidently show the world their beautiful smile, and when we are gifted to restore proper function of one’s oral health.”
Elizabeth D.
Meet Elizabeth! If you’re having dental care, you can rely on Elizabeth and her many years of dental experience to make your treatment as smooth and painless as possible. For her, the best feeling is seeing the smile of a happy patient after visiting us. Elizabeth has two kids and they are the light of her life, enjoying every moment of time with her family. She also enjoys extreme couponing, and gets really excited to see how much money she saves!
Sara G.
Sara has been working in the dental field since 2014 and was an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant before joining the Irvine Smile Design team. She enjoys interacting with patients and loves the positive impact dentistry can have on a person’s smile.
Sara has been with her husband for over 10 years and in her free time, she loves attending concerts, spending time with family, hiking and practicing yoga.
Katie M.
Katie graduated from West Coast University with her degree in Dental Hygiene and has been working as a dental hygienist for over five years. She loves to build relationships with her patients, and prefers to be known as the ‘gentle hygienist.’ When she’s not in the office, Katie loves to exercise, binge Netflix series, and go on adventures with her pup!

Sloane has been with the practice for over 20 years and has been an integral part of our success in connecting with members of our community. Sloane’s role has evolved over the years and she helps manage our business practices and accounting. Sloane loves to travel with her husband all over the world and enjoys attending concerts and spending time with friends.

Dental Assistant
With over 5 years in dentistry, Angela believes the best patient experiences come from recognizing that no two people are alike. She takes pride in getting to know her patients and tailoring each visit to their individual needs, making sure everyone who sits in the chair feels valued and special.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find Angela training for her next marathon, out on a run, or embracing her love for all things Spider-Man.
Kevin
Specialty Dental Assistant
Kevin has 10 years of experience in dentistry and enjoys the technical and engineering side of his work. He is passionate about helping and educating patients while making them feel comfortable by treating them like family and explaining what to expect.
Outside the office, Kevin enjoys making music, playing bass, sailing, and snowboarding.

Jade has 6 years of experience in dentistry and loves helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for, usually with a few laughs along the way. She’s passionate about dentistry and is excited to continue her education and career in the dental field.
Outside the office, Jade loves cooking, baking, traveling, and discovering new matcha spot. She’s always on the hunt for the perfect matcha!

When she’s not keeping things running behind the scenes, she enjoys trying new restaurants and making magical memories at Disneyland with her daughter. Ariana brings experience, heart, and a little sparkle to everything she does.
Mariam
Registered Dental Hygienist
Mariam has been a dental hygienist for 10 years and earned her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from West Coast University. She strives to provide gentle, painless cleanings and create a safe, judgment-free space where patients can feel at ease. She loves connecting with her patients on a personal level and hopes to change the way people feel about coming to the dentist and making each visit something they can actually feel good about.
Outside the office, Mariam enjoys going to the gym, discovering new restaurants, and taking walks by the beach.
