Full And Partial Dentures
Dentures can be an excellent tooth replacement option for who are missing some or all of their teeth as a result of periodontal disease, tooth decay or injury. These removable dental prosthetics can help restore your dental function and facial appearance almost immediately after they are placed, boosting your overall quality of life instantaneously. Dentures can come in two different types: full dentures for those missing a full arch of teeth and partial dentures for those who still have some natural teeth remaining.

And No Slipping With Implant Supported Dentures
Full Dentures
Full, or complete, dentures can be broken down further into conventional or immediate, each with its own distinct purpose and uses. Conventional dentures are custom tailored to match perfectly with a patient’s facial features, gum contour and natural smile. These dentures can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to complete after one’s teeth have been removed or extracted.
In the interim, immediate, or “same day” dentures may be used in place of custom dentures. Immediate dentures are pre-fabricated dentures that can be secured into your mouth as soon as teeth are extracted.
Partial Dentures
Partials, are used to replace teeth on an arch that still has natural teeth remaining. A Partial can either be fixed or removable. Fixed bridges are anchored by dental crowns on either side of the gap and cemented permanently into place. Removable partial dentures, on the other hand, utilize a metal framework that allows you to take out your dentures for cleaning, sleeping or whenever else they need to be removed.
Implant Supported Dentures Are
A huge improvement over standard dentures
In addition to the aesthetic and functional appeal of dentures, one of the advantages of partials is that they prevent one’s natural teeth on either side of a gap from shifting.
Missing teeth can affect your quality of life, causing you to struggle with everyday functions, such as eating, speaking and smiling or laughing with ease and confidence. Full and partial dentures can help restore both your dental function, oral health and self-confidence one again.
