Our dental office has taken advanced precautions in addition to our already stringent sterilization techniques to create a safe environment during these times. You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. To maintain social distancing protocols we made the following modifications to help protect our patients and staff:

Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask pre-screening questions. We are using HEPA air filtration systems to eliminate aerosols, so you can rest assured that we are going above and beyond to ensure your safety. You need to wear a mask/face covering upon entering the office/medical building and use hand sanitizer (please bring your own mask; hand sanitizer is provided when you enter the building). We will take your temperature upon arrival and if it is above 100.4 degrees we will need to reschedule you.

Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. Please arrive on time and not early. If you arrive early, please stay in your car until it’s time for your appointment and then come to the office. We can only allow the patient to enter the office, unless you absolutely require assistance; your company must stay in the car during your appointment.

Invisalign Treatment

At Irvine Smile Design, we are pleased to offer our patients the popular and effective Invisalign treatment to correct crooked, crowded, gapped or misaligned teeth. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign is a clear plastic aligner that positions your teeth gradually without the need to wear a mouth full of metal.

You can remove them whenever you want. Aligners and treatment process is custom tailored to each individual to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.

The benefits of Invisalign

Invisalign aligners offer a number of advantages over traditional methods of teeth corrections, such as metal braces. These benefits include:

Improved appearance: Since Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible, they not only improve one’s smile over time, but they are also a more attractive alternative to metal braces during the treatment itself.

Greater comfort: Invisalign aligners, which are comprised of a smooth material, do not have sharp edges that can inflame and irritate the gums and teeth like metal braces.

The Invisalign Treatment Process

Initial consultation: We offer complimentary initial consultation. During your initial consultation with us, we will be able to determine whether Invisalign is the best option to help correct your teeth. If you are an invisalign candidate we will complete a full oral exam, including taking X-rays and an impression of your teeth, as well as go over the entire Invisalign process and answer any questions you may have.

Customized treatment plan:

Once you are qualified as a candidate for Invisalign aligners, we will map out a customized treatment plan just for you. Every two weeks, you will replace your removable Invisalign aligners, which will gradually shift your teeth into the appropriate position for a straighter and more beautiful smile.

Wearing your Invisalign aligners:

Depending on your dental needs, your Invisalign aligners should be worn day and night for 20 to 22 hours each day. To maintain your beautiful smile permanently, your dentist may recommend that you wear a retainer to keep your teeth in place.
